Salmon Falls Gallery (1 Ashfield Street): Winter’s Bone: Photographs by Carl Nardiello, reception 4-6pm with music by Al Canali. The exhibit Winter’s Bone by photographer Carl Nardiello is a series of ongoing photographic studies inspired by the forms, color, and light of late fall and winter. When the dominant foliage of summer falls away, fresh layers of landscape reveal themselves. Each day, each shift of weather and wind, creates new contexts. The capture of such images is one of feeling, of intuition, and a precise use of technology. Exhibit runs from May 5 – June 25.

Molly Cantor Pottery (20 Bridge Street)

Shelburne Arts Co-op (26 Bridge Street):  "A World Beneath Our Feet", Rag rugs by Lynda Faye and floor cloths by Joanne Gold are 19th-century crafts brought into the 21st century. The artists experiment with vivid color and bold patterns for these traditional floor coverings, moving them from utilitarian objects to usable art. Reception 2-5 pm with live music and refreshments.
